Axle Types
An axle is the central shaft of a rotating gear or wheel. Axles are either fixed to the wheels or mounted directly to the vehicle. Spindles
The spindles on a vehicle’s axle are the main components that connect the wheels to the axle. They mount the wheels on the axle and fasten the braking system to the axle assembly.
